M-1 Negotiations
June 15, 2010
M-1 negotiations started yesterday afternoon and non-economic
proposals were exchanged.
Today we started going through the Union and
Company proposals and tentatively agreed to several proposals with the Company.
We will continue with Non-Economics tomorrow and hopefully work our way through
the rest of the Non-Economic proposals. Time will tell if we make it into the
Economic portion of Negotiations.
Your committee continues to do a
excellent job for you at the table.

Today we finished non-economics for the
most part. We exchanged economic proposals before breaking for the day.
We
are currently going over the Company proposals. Let the fun begin.

Today was a long day in economics. The Company responded to
our proposals by rejecting all of them.
We worked most of the day on
our responses to them. Insurance is at the forefront.

We reached a tentative Agreement
late last night. Your negotiators will fill you in and you will have a list of
what was agreed to, by early next week. Improvements include wage increase
and pension increase.
Many thanks to the Negotiating Committee,
GLR Bud Michel, and BR Joe Capra for all their hard work and expertise.
