NEGOTIATIONS IN PROGRESS |
|
2/19/2008 We opened negotiations today and exchanged non-economic packages with the Company. Discussion of the proposals will continue during negotiations tomorrow.
Your Negotiating Committee 2/20/2008
We continued with non-economics today and have reached tentative
agreement on a few items. We still have a long ways to go in non-economics
and look forward to completing much of it by weeks end.
2/21/2008
We met with the Company today and little to nothing was accomplished.
We continued negotiations on Friday and worked our way through most of
the non-economics. We still have a few issues open in the non-economic area
and when we meet again we can hopefully finish these areas up and get into
the economics of negotiations. Things are moving slow. We will meet with
the Company again toward the end of the month. 3/25/2008
We resumed negotiations today and with only a couple of items open in non
economics we gave the Company our economic proposals. They also gave us a
couple of economic proposals. Needless to say we have a ways to go before
we would consider signing anything off.
Your Negotiation Committee feels these current proposals are
unacceptable. 3/27/2008 Negotiations moved slow again today. A lot of discussion
but not a lot of progress made. Hopefully tomorrow will go better. No real
progress was made. 3/28/2008 We continued negotiations today with little progress. The majority of the Members who did not have to perform mission support showed up to express their concerns about the negativity of the company's proposals.
3/30/2008 We met all weekend with the company with little to no
movement.
3/31/2008 After some significant movement, we expect to get the company's last, best and final offer today. We will update tomorrow with more information.
4/10/2008 The Membership rejected NewTec's last, best and final offer by an overwhelming majority and voted to strike the company by a 92.5% vote.
